Methodist Centenary Church

Below are listed some church activities. Members of the local community are more than welcome to join us in any of them.

The next meeting of the Book Club is on Tuesday 14th September 2010 at 7.30pm in Room 1, Wesley House. The book to be discussed is "Wolf Hall" by Hilary Mantel. For more information please contact Janet Pasley at Tel. 01-2982548

The Friendly Room has broken for the summer and will reconvene on Wednesday 8th September from 10.30am to noon in Wesley House. All welcome.

Indoor Bowls usually meets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7.30 pm in Wesley House, from September to May. The Bowling Club has broken for the summer and will reconvene in early September. More information from Patrick at 01-4974674

Leeson Park Players usually put on plays twice a year in Wesley House. After expenses, the proceeds are divided between various charities.

The Players hold their AGM on Thursday 2nd September at 8pm in Room 1, Wesley House.

The next performance will be "The Pursuit of Love" by Nancy Mitford, adapted with permission by Charles Richards. Auditions will be held on Monday 6th September at 8pm in Wesley House.

Performance dates are November 25th, 26th and 27th and rehearsals will take place every Monday and Thursday starting after the auditions.
